Matteo is born in the 90’s in Naples, at the foot of the Mount Vesuvius. He has been bringing in his life the passion and the energy of his volcanic homeland since he was a hyperactive child.

Dreaming to become an astronaut first, then a mechanical engineer at Ferrari, he found at the age of 14 that his dream was to save the European Union.

Grandpa told him that in order to change the world you need to know politics. Consequently, Matteo graduated with a summa cum laude BA in Political Sciences and International Relations.

Beside this, he loves 3 things: travelling, people and the EU.

So, at the age of 20 he wanted to show his eurosceptic friends that it is worth being an European Union citizen and that you could have plenty of benefits from it! That’s why he first spent one year in Paris in SciencesPo thanks to the Erasmus programme, then settled in London for half an year to learn about the famous British humour. However, since he prefers beer to tea, he finally ended up in Brussels for an internship at the European Economic and Social Committee, within the Communication department.

Passionate about politics and with a natural gift for communicating with people, he decided to enrol at the Université Libre de Bruxelles for a Master in Political Communication. In the meanwhile, Matteo didn’t miss the chance to enjoy the bilateral agreement between the ULB and the Université de Montréal to travel and spend a semester in the land of the maple syrup.

From France to Belgium, through Québec he has experienced nearly all kind of French variations. Thus, he decided to help AcrossLimits with teaching of the Digital Transformation Programme in la belle langue, even if he sometimes still says “septante-cinq” instead of “soixante-quinze”. Bruxelles oblige!
