Resolutions come and go...

Dear friends,

Making ResolutionsI promise to be nicer to people. I will stop eating carbohydrates. I will not agree to be part in projects which make absolutely no business sense but are great for the world at large. I promise not to procrastinate. I will only speak the truth and nothing but the truth!

Right! Ha! :-) I'm sure that like myself you've made a few impossible resolutions at the beginning of this year ... And that like me, you couldn't resist breaking them almost as quickly as you did them. ... Well, despair not.... We are human, and our little imperfections are what makes us interesting, loveable and totally unique.

And totally unique (tho NOT full of imperfections!) are our eLearning solutions that we are promoting this month thanks to a new sub-portal of our main AL website. We also wanted to take the opportunity to congratulate 10 enterprising women from Malta whowe've sponsored in a new project, and finally to promote our work in Italy that is continuing to move on to new regions - this time Abruzzo.

And with that, off I go to nibble on some breaded chicken nuggets - They're mostly proteins anyhow! :-)

Take care,

eLearning solutions just one click away

http://elearning.acrosslimits.comAcrossLimits has just launched the new eLearning portal. The website will be displaying our new packages in the eLearning sector. In this day and age, schools need to equip themselves with technology to grab their students’  attention and keep them interest. Nowadays in education, apart from the content, the method of delivery is playing a much more important role in lessons.

Communication gadgets have become the latest toys for children and adults alike. The need for visual and interactive technologies is becoming a prerequisite to generate interest in learning.

AcrossLimits’ packages for eLearning are tailor-made to provide the best learning experience both for learners and educators. Our experienced trainers will guarantee that the educators familiarise themselves with the system as well as offer online support both to teachers and administrator.

The site provides information about the various packages available as well as a demo course which may be followed and tested. AcrossLimits sponsors AMIE project

Supporting Women EntrepreneursAcrossLimits is the official sponsor of  the AMIE project. The AMIE project was launched in Brussels on the 8th December, 2010. The Foundation for Women Entrepreneurs, in partnership with Reach Beyond Foundation, the Malta Business Bureau, the National Council for Women and the Malta Association of Women in Business, have successfully applied for a calls of proposals within the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP) – Funded action number: ENT/CIP/09/E/N08S003 entitled “European Network of Female Entrepreneurship Ambassadors”.

Amie Brussel LaunchThe main objective of AMIE is to promote Female Entrepreneurship in Malta through the establishment of a Network of Women Ambassadors. This Network, which is part of the European Network of Women Entrepreneurs, will campaign amongst unemployed women, women in active professional life, as well as students, to setup their own businesses and become entrepreneurs.

Furthermore, the objectives of the Ambassadors are to act as role models so as to raise women’s ability to create a vision for themselves as entrepreneurs, as well as the required motivation and self-confidence to set up and create a successful business. The Ambassadors shall be role-models so as to inspire other women to become entrepreneurs by ‘telling their story’.

AcrossLimits would like to congratulate the AMIE team and the Ambassadors for the success achieved so for, and wish them further positive results in the project.
