Emanuele Pristerà, the Head of IT & Digital Media at AcrossLimits, has a strong technical background and a passion for problem-solving. Emanuele plays a crucial role in shaping the company’s digital infrastructure and technological advancements.
Born and raised in Catania, Sicily, Emanuele began his career in the IT sector in 2014. After four years, he made the move to Malta and began his journey with AcrossLimits in 2018.
About His Role
Emanuele’s role involves specialising in WordPress development and key web technologies. His responsibilities include building and customising WordPress websites, developing custom themes, managing plugins and optimising site functionality.
Beyond WordPress, Emanuele’s expertise extends to web development and database management, ensuring the creation of dynamic and interactive web applications. Additionally, overseeing the IT aspects of 25+ EU projects is a key part of the role, addressing technical challenges and ensuring seamless digital operations.

Emanuele has extensive experience of more than 10 years in web development, software engineering and digital transformation strategies, including:
- Full-Stack Web Development – Proficient in technologies such as JavaScript (Angular, Node.js), PHP and MySQL databases.
- Cybersecurity & Data Protection – Ensuring compliance with GDPR, implementing security best practices, and safeguarding digital assets.
- IT Infrastructure Management – Overseeing networking, system administration, and optimising cloud-based environments for efficiency and scalability.
- AI & Automation – Passionate about machine learning, automation tools, and AI-driven solutions to enhance business processes.
As Head of IT & Digital Media, Emanuele not only manages the company’s IT architecture but also leads digital innovation, ensuring seamless integration of technology into AcrossLimits’ projects. His ability to bridge technical expertise with strategic vision allows him to develop cutting-edge solutions tailored to the company’s needs.
Beyond Technology – A Passion for Music and Classic Cars
Outside his professional career, Emanuele is also a musician and composer. He shares his music on YouTube, showcasing his skills with synthesisers and digital music production.
He is also an avid classic car enthusiast, owning a 5th generation Toyota Celica, and actively engaging with the classic car communities in his hometown of Catania, where he shares his passion for vintage cars and automotive engineering.
