About: The VOWEL project started in November, 2004 proposing to design an e-learning solution, to be tested on several sites in Europe with the support of technical players and European vocational training players, particularly in English, French and Spanish. It’s aim was to develop the handling of professional situations in those languages, to come up with a deployment methodology and to ensure its promotion throughout Europe. The VOWEL project provided access to a newer, thorough, operational and interactive language-training portal that provided reliable operation and integrated all synchronous and asynchronous on-line services.
